I just finished my latest cat portrait, Smokey. Smokey's mom, Tess, is one of those anipal angels you may know on Twitter as @smokey8. It took me a while but I finally captured Smokey's smug, knowing expression. He's hilarious.

I just finished a new portrait of "Kisha," a beautiful Chihuahua mix, sisfur to "Demi." Their mama is popular pet artist Joan Brienza Nardozzi (@zaziart).

I realize the Day of the Dead really has nothing to do with Boho Pets, but I'm going to slip this in here, anyway, as this is my only art site.

I've begun creating some Dia de los Muertos products, including this magnet featuring my digital portrait, "Reynalda" - my tribute to Pancho Villa's daughter.

A Less Adoptable Pet Portrait

As part of BlogPaws.com's "Be The Change for Pets", I took part in "Adopt A Less Adoptable Pet Week." I chose Boomer, a 5 year old male long-hair black tabby who was wearing out his welcome at the Los Angeles East Valley Animal Shelter.

In an effort to get him a little more notoriety, I drew a digital portrait of him made it my cat, @cokiethecat's, Twitter profile for a week and posted this image on Cokie's blog, on the Anipal Photo Hunt, on Facebook, etc. 

 Please help us find a forever home for Boomer the Cat!
